With an ambitious goal of reducing avoidable hospital use by 25% by 2020, the New York State (NYS) Department of Health’s (DOH) Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program is one of the largest Medicaid transformation efforts in the nation. Each year, as part of the DSRIP program, the DOH convenes the Performing Provider Systems (PPS) in a statewide Learning Symposium to take stock on their progress, share and learn together, and accelerate the system-wide transformation.
The RFP for presenters and posters at the fourth annual NY DSRIP Learning Symposium is live! Want to share your work and learning with up to 800 DSRIP leaders and stakeholders in Saratoga Springs, NY? Proposals are due September 14th, don't delay!
The Learning Symposium is designed to showcase DSRIP program successes and most promising practices to date and support all who attend in their transformational journey. The event has been designed to address five main goals.
Showcase what works and encourage the adoption of effective strategies.
Motivate and encourage continued commitment, progress, and innovation .
Highlight innovators and innovations and challenge “business as usual”.
Deepen our learning with new tools, skills, and actionable change ideas.
Harvest and reflect on the learning across PPS and stakeholders.
